We do not collect any Special Categories of Personal Data about you (this includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health and genetic and biometric data). Nor do we collect any information about criminal convictions and offences, unless for a candidate for employment and consent has been given.

How We Collect Your Data:

Actively Submitted Data: When you request information, respond to an online survey or otherwise actively send us data, we usually collect data such as your name, email address(es), mailing address(es), telephone number(s), and certain information related to the business you represent. In each such instance, you will know what data we collect through the Site, because you actively submit it.

We have also identified what our legitimate interests are where appropriate. We do not sell users’ Personal Data and have not done so in the past 12 months.

If you do not provide us with your Personal Data we will not be able to complete your request or order, subscribe you to our newsletter, or potentially comply with contractual obligations.

Opt-Out:

Your Rights:

Below we set out your rights under the GDPR for European Economic Area (EEA) Residents (as well as CCPA for California residents designated below) in more detail. We will endeavor to respond to your request within one month, but have the right to extend this period by two months if the request is particularly complex or if you submit a large number of requests. If we extend the response period, we will let you know within one month from your request.

    • Access (CCPA): you are entitled to ask us if we are processing your Personal Data and, if we are, you can request access to your personal information (commonly known as a “data subject access request”).You may also request information about how we collect, use, and disclose Personal Data. This enables you to receive a copy of the Personal Data we hold about you and to check that we are lawfully processing it.       • Provide you a different level or quality of goods or services.
      • Suggest that you may receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.

What We May Need from You Where Exercising Your Rights:

We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access your personal data (or to exercise any of your other rights). This is a security measure to ensure that personal data is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it. Information received from you for verification purposes will only be used to verify your identity. In certain circumstances, we may request a copy of your government identification to assist us in verifying your identity. We may also contact you to ask you for further information in relation to your request to speed up our response.

Complaints:

If you have a complaint about the way we process your Personal Data, we request that you contact us at dataprivacy@sempac.com  to allow us to solve the complaint. However, you also have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority in the EU Member State where you live or work in which the alleged infringement regarding the processing of your Personal Data took place. If so contact the supervisory authorities in your country of residence.

Security:

Transmissions of data over the Internet are never 100% secure or error-free. However, we have put in place reasonable and appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

You should also safeguard any password and User ID you use to access the Site and notify Webmaster at webmaster@sempac.com  if you suspect that this password or User ID has been compromised. You are solely responsible for any unauthorized use of the Site conducted via your password and User ID.

We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.
